If you care about the creek please give the spawning fish some peace.  Voluntary closure started 12/1.  I stopped fishing the creek in early November after seeing that the fish were already in really dark spawning colors and podded up in the normal areas.  Give the Yuba a try.  It can be just as challenging as Putah during the summer, but the reward of a bright silver rocket ship at the end of your line in December will bring a smile to your face.

Help protect the fish on Putah Creek.  Thanks
