Not much to report. The Yuba is still very muddy. Clarity is only improved about 6" from last Sunday. One fish to hand on about the 10th cast, a beefy 11"ish fish, then 9 hours of physical training- humping the river, casting, changing rigs, etc.
I was talking with the DF&G fish census guys late in the afternoon. Very slow day on the river. Apparently it isn't Deer Creek inflow, but the water coming right out of Englebright that is so murky. My guess is it could be a bit before it really clears. Very little bug activity today as well. A couple skwalas, a couple PMD's was about it.
It turns out the last two days up there have mainly about showing off my Putah Creek Trout hat.
I'd bet when the river clears, it could be fun.
