I was the only one out there 1130-230. Sunny, getting warm, water clear, slow, and low. Skunk at the easy spots so I went exploring and found some holes. But again, I didn't see any fish. I threw a little anyways.
A lot of o the shoreline is moist, muddy and slippery. Be careful.
I was surprised that you found clear water on the 2nd.� I popped over during the Superbowl on Sunday and the water at access 5 looked like chocolate milk.� It was a little better farther up, but still pretty cloudy.� It sounds like the creek had already cleared up by yesterday, so maybe the fishing will improve as well this week.
Yes, that was me and my buddy Andan.� We went upstream from you into some shallower water.� The amount of silt on the bottom was amazing.� We crossed the creek where the bottom is normally rocky and sunk 6 or 8 inches in mud with every step.� Hopefully the spring releases will clean that out.� We had no better luck there than at access 5.� We are going to try some lake fishing this weekend and I'll probably try Putah next week.� Good to meet you.
