People from all over the map all converging on access 4 and 5 flogging the water to a froth. Mud all over the place down by the bridge and a pale colored bottom on the tailouts that the fish don't like because they stand out in contrast. And a fresh vibrant crop of poison oak on the trail to the rock garden...

The water in the run at access 4 is very cold when the bank crumbles away as you are walking down to the creek and you, get pitched ass over teakettle into the water. And wet too! Note to self.; extra clothes in car.

Went out today with my son to check out the creek. It's still very stained with limited visibility. We only fished a couple of hours. One to hand caught by my son. It was a great day.

if you fish the run downstream of the spawning area at no. 3, out where the stream opens up, beware of really really deep mud deposits right off of the bank. I went up to my thigh quickly and I know there was more down there
